The Wynford National Honor Society held its induction ceremony for new members on October 21, 2024. Wynford is proud to have accepted the following new members into the National Honor Society: Cole Brown, Collin Hulsmeyer, Ryan Wise, Mallorie Williams, Bayleigh Armstrong, Dana Hurst, Malia Roth, Brock Saam, Evan Wolfe, and Cade Farrell.
Levi Hartschuh, a school board member at Wynford, has been recognized for his service to a statewide association of school boards. Hartschuh received a plaque thanking him for his contributions as a member of the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Board of Trustees, the association's governing body. OSBA Chief Executive Director Dr. Kathy McFarland presented the plaque at the October 21 Wynford Local Schools board meeting. The school board member also serves as the association's President- elect on the Central Region Executive Committee, Student Achievement Leadership Team and the Capital Conference Planning Task Force. Additionally, Hartschuh is a legislative liaison and Wynford's delegate to the OSBA Delegate Assembly. Congratulations, Levi!
Reminder-We will be having the OHSAA winter PARENT meeting tonight in the high school gym for grades 7-12, starting at 6PM. Students do NOT have to attend. Also, both boys and girls' basketball coaches, 7-12, will be having their parent meeting after our OHSAA meeting.

Wynford Elementary School kindergarten students participated in the annual Harvest Day activities. Under the guidance of FCCLA's Mrs. Crystal Jennings and FFA's Mrs, Tessa Martin, high school students directed a variety of hands on fun including pedal tractor races, tile slides, pumpkin crafts and games and a petting zoo. Wynford Swim Team wants YOU!
Swim season is coming!! Wynford swim team is open to any student grades 9-12. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM! If you can float, doggie paddle, or kick to move in water you can be a part of the swim team. You will learn and perfect your technique as the season progresses. Don’t take the Winter season off. You can continue your workouts for other sports and also be a part of the swim team. Collegiate and professional athletes use swimming as an exceptional off-season activity to build muscle and endurance. Swimming is a great cardio workout with very low impact on the body. Swimming can also be a life skill you will never forget and may save your life one day! Please stop by the office to pick up information regarding practices and items you will need. The Wynford Elementary Fall Festival will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Come eat, play games, get candy, participate in the costume and pumpkin contests, build your own mascot for $20, and so much more! We hope to see you and your family there!
Reminder - Tomorrow, Friday, October 18, 2024, is the “Pink Out Day” for breast cancer awareness. The Wynford Middle School Student Council is inviting everyone at the middle/high school to dress in pink to support those who have been affected or are affected by breast cancer.
