  • www.studentscholarships.org ~this website lists national scholarships.  Some of these scholarships are open to students in grades 9-12.  The scholarships are updated often so this is a great site to visit often!

North Central Electric Cooperative Scholarship

  • Deadline: received at the co-op by Friday, January 18, 2019
  • Criteria: parents/guardians MUST be permanent residential members of North Central Electric Cooperative, 3.5+ GPA
  • Procedure: the application can be found at www.ncelec.org 

Crawford College Connection Grant

  • Deadline: February 1, 2019
  • Criteria: 3.0+ GPA, must have filed the FAFSA (you will need your SAR), clear career goals, and planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Karl F. Dilley Scholarship

  • Deadline: February 22, 2019
  • Amount: 1- $1,000
  • Criteria: 3.0+ GPA, good character, preference given to a student with a strong interest in social studies education or political science
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Luther Lust Education Scholarship

  • Deadline: February 22, 2019
  • Amount: 1- $1,000
  • Criteria: 3.0+ GPA, good character, the student must have a strong desire to teach
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Allan Reinhard Memorial Scholarship

  • Deadline: February 22, 2019
  • Amount: 1- $500
  • Criteria: 3.0+ GPA, good character, and must have completed at least 2 years of vo-ag classes at Wynford.
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Marion Community Foundation Scholarships

  • Deadline: noon, March 1, 2019
  • Criteria: varies based on scholarship applying for
  • Procedure: the application can be found at MarionCommunityFoundation.org

Emanuel United Church of Christ Memorial Scholarship

  • Deadline: postmarked by March 1, 2019
  • Criteria: must be a member of a Christian church (preference given to Emanuel UCC members)
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Wyandot County Sherriff's Auxiliary

  • Deadline: March 1, 2019
  • Criteria: live in Wyandot County and pursuing a degree in law
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

The Community Foundation for Crawford County

  • Deadline: March 1, 2019
  • Criteria: there are multiple scholarships available on this website, each with their own criteria
  • Procedure: the application can be found at www.cfcrawford.org

Warpole Chapter #366- Order of the Eastern Star

  • Deadline: must be received by April 1, 2019
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application

Wyandot County Pheasants Forever

  • Deadline: April 1, 2019
  • Amount: 4- $500 scholarships
  • Criteria: live in Wyandot County and pursuing a career in natural resources
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for an application

Wyandot County 4-H Endowment Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 1, 2019
  • Criteria: must have been a Wynadot County 4-H member at least the past 3 years and be a current 4-H member in good standing
  • Procedure: see Mrs. Heinlen for application
 
Class of 2019
 
  • Visit or revisit colleges to ensure that you are comfortable on the campus.
  • Watch application deadlines!  You should begin applying to college now!
  • Have you earned 18 points on your state assessments to graduate?  If not, contact me!

Class of 2020

  • College-bound juniors- it's not too early to begin college visits!
  • What to Expect Senior Year meeting will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 7:00-8:00 pm in the auditorium- this is for ALL juniors and parents.
  • You will all take the ACT March 12, 2019- this is the free one.  You may want to sign up to test prior to the March date to experience the test
  • Buckeye Girls State or Buckeye Boys State are opportunities available to juniors in June 2019- see Mrs. Heinlen for more details about these opportunities.

Class of 2021

  • It's not too early to think about your future... college?  the workforce?  the military?  Pioneer CTC?
  • We will all be going to Pioneer on January 29 in the morning to visit 3 labs.  IF you decide to attend Pioneer you will apply online after the visit.  The deadline for applications is February 15, 2019.
  • If you are planning to participate in College Credit Plus (CCP) next school year you will need to ACT test in February or April (see dates below)
  • State testing dates are listed below

Class of 2022

  • Welcome to high school!
  • Make sure you are completing homework, keeping your grades up, and coming to school- regardless of what your future holds these things will be reflected on your transcript!

Planning to participate in sports in college?  You need to register with the NCAA (https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/) or NAIA (https://www.playnaia.org/eligibility-center) Eligibility Centers.
